`Black Hat,' a Hip-Hop Answer to `Spinal Tap'

"Rap is an art form that is already so outrageous - so how muchmore outrageous can you get?" asks director Randy Cundieff. Hisanswer is "Fear of a Black Hat," a mock documentary about a hip-hoptrio.

Cundieff, who has directed music videos for Fishbone and NeilYoung, will screen his debut feature in person at 2 p.m. Sunday atthe Film Center, as part of the 12th Annual Blacklight Festival ofInternational Black Cinema.

Not to be confused with "CB4," a recent release with a similiarpremise, "Fear of a Black Hat" is scheduled to open at Chicagotheaters in October.
